పారిశ్రామిక రంగానికి ‘పునాది’

అభివృద్ధిలో దూసుకెళ్తున్న సిద్దిపేటలో పారిశ్రామిక రంగానికి ‘పునాది’ పడనుంది. ఇన్నాళ్లు పరిశ్రమలు లేవనే లోటుండగా, దాన్ని తీర్చేదిశగా ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధమయ్యాయి. దీంట్లో భాగంగానే సిద్దిపేట అర్బన్‌ మండలం మందపల్లిలో మలేషియాకు చెందిన డిక్సన్‌ వ్యవసాయాధారిత పరిశ్రమ ఏర్పాటుకు రాష్ట్ర మంత్రి తన్నీరు హరీశ్‌రావు మంగళవారం శంకుస్థాపన చేయనున్నారు. సిద్దిపేట అర్బన్‌ మండలం మందపల్లి, మిట్టపల్లి, నంగునూరు మండలం రాజగోపాల్‌పేట, ముండ్రాయిలోని 300 ఎకరాల భూమిని జిల్లా అధికారులు తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర పారిశ్రామిక, మౌలిక వసతుల కల్పన సంస్థకు అప్పగించారు. దీంట్లో పారిశ్రామిక పార్కు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని ప్రతిపాదించారు. ఈ పార్కులోనే మందపల్లి పరిధిలోని 46.93 ఎకరాల భూమిని టీఎస్‌ఐఐసీ మలేషియాకు చెందిన డిక్సన్‌ కంపెనీకి కేటాయించింది. జూన్‌ 3న రాష్ట్ర మంత్రి తన్నీరు హరీశ్‌రావు జన్మదినాన ఈ కంపెనీ ప్రతినిధులు సిద్దిపేటలో పరిశ్రమ ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నట్లు ప్రకటించారు. తర్వాత టీఎస్‌ఐఐసీ ద్వారా భూ కేటాయింపులు జరిగాయి. మంగళవారం ఉదయం మంత్రి చేతుల మీదుగా పరిశ్రమ నిర్మాణానికి శంకుస్థాపన చేయనున్నారు. దీని కోసం ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తున్నారు. మలేషియా కేంద్రంగా ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా ఈ సంస్థ ఉత్పత్తుల్ని విక్రయిస్తోంది. సిద్దిపేటలో రూ.175 కోట్ల అంచనా వ్యయంతో వ్యవసాయాధారిత పరిశ్రమ ఏర్పాటు చేయనుంది. ప్రత్యక్షంగా 700 మందికి, పరోక్షంగా మరో 700 మందికి ఉపాధి లభించనుందని టీఎస్‌ఐఐసీ అధికారులు ప్రకటించారు. ప్రధానంగా పౌష్టికాహార ఉత్పత్తులు, హెల్త్‌ సప్లిమెంట్లను ఇది తయారు చేస్తోంది. పైగా కాలుష్య రహితం కావడం మరో విశేషం. ఈ ప్రాంతంలో ప్రభుత్వం దళితులకు పంపిణీ చేసిన భూముల్లో కంపెనీకి కావాల్సిన వ్యవసాయ ఉత్పత్తుల్ని పండించే దిశగా రైతులతో ఒప్పందం చేసుకోనుంది. విత్తనాలు, సాంకేతికత అందించనుంది. ఇది దళిత రైతులకు మేలు చేసే అంశమే. కంపెనీలో వచ్చిన లాభాలతో ఇక్కడి నిరుద్యోగ యువతకు వివిధ అంశాలపై శిక్షణ ఇవ్వనుంది. దక్షిణాదిలో తొలిసారిగా సిద్దిపేటలోనే డీఎక్సెఎన్‌ పరిశ్రమ ఏర్పాటు కానుంది. ఏడాదిలోగా ఉత్పత్తుల తయారీ చేపట్టే దిశగా పనులు పూర్తి చేయాలనే లక్ష్యంతో కంపెనీ ఉంది. సిద్దిపేట జిల్లా కేంద్రంగా మారడం, కాళేశ్వరం ఎత్తిపోతల పథకంలో భాగంగా నాలుగు జలాశయాల నిర్మాణం జరుగుతుండడం, మనోహరాబాద్‌-సిద్దిపేట-కొత్తపల్లి రైల్వేలైన్‌ పనులు షురూ కావడం వంటి అంశాలు పారిశ్రామిక రంగంలో అడుగులు పడడానికి దోహదం చేస్తున్నాయి. ఈ సందర్భంగా మంత్రి తన్నీరు హరీశ్‌రావు మాట్లాడుతూ సిద్దిపేటలో పారిశ్రామిక రంగానికి తొలి అడుగు పడుతుండడం ఆనందంగా ఉందన్నారు. ఈ పార్కులో మరిన్ని వ్యవసాయ, ఆహార ఆధారిత పరిశ్రమలు ఏర్పాటు చేసేందుకు కృషి చేస్తామన్నారు.

A Rs 150-crore agro products processing industry will come up soon at Mandapally on the outskirts of Siddipet. The foundation stone for the industry, to be set up by DXN Industries, Malaysia, in 50 acres, will be laid by Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao on Tuesday.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) for setting up of the facility was signed last year by the Minister and Dr Lin, founder of DXN Industries. Once completed and ready for production, it is expected to employ 700 people with indirect employment potential for an equal number of people. According to a press release, Harish Rao said the industry would provide a big boost for Siddipet’s development and turn it into an industrial hub.

It is also expected to make agriculture profitable for many traditionally backward Dalit farmers in the region. “We will work for better coordination between the farmers and DXN,” the Minister said. The Telangana State Industrial and Infrastructural Corporation Limited, which is acquiring over 500 acres to create an industrial corridor on the outskirts of Siddipet, has accorded permission for the industry by allotting a 50 acres to DXN recently.

Harish Rao said production at the new unit is expected to begin in about a year.

DXN is expected to encourage farmers to grow Spirulina – an alga grown in fresh water – Ganoderma, a herb, and various varieties of Mushrooms in government distributed 3 acres land to Dalits in Siddipet and neighbouring districts with an aim to make farming a profitable business for these small and marginal farmers.

The company will guide the farmers on growing these crops without use of pesticides and buy the produce from the farmers by offering remunerative prices. The processed products are expected to be sold across the globe.
